Organizing Tip

Make it a habit to:

• Think before you print.
• Print double-sided or re-use paper.
• Use scrap paper for phone messages.
• Recycle used paper.
• Buy recycled paper.

Clarification of previous organizing tip: Get rid of duplicate documents. For example, you can shred pay stubs after you receive your W-2 form. Keep your W-2 form with your tax return. They share advice on who to involve (casting), what topic (plotting), as well as when and where to hold the discussion (setting the scene).
